Tuesday, June 10th, marked the final production day for our short film series. In today's video journal Executive Producer, Chuck Bentley, reflects on all that happened over the six days of filming.
As we transition into the post-production phase, we have a lot of special updates planned. So be sure to check back often!
As filming ended yesterday, it brought us one day closer to wrapping up in Utah. We shot one of the most important scenes: "Lifted Up" which is a presentation of the Gospel in John 3 when Nicodemus seeks out Jesus to ask if he is the Messiah.
We shot the “Hell Scene” with the Rich Man as he pleads with Abraham to free him and spare his brothers. This scene will be cut together with the “Heaven Scene” we shot on the green screen in the studio earlier this week.
Filming resumed yesterday on the Abraham and Issac scene when Abraham obeyed God’s command to sacrifice his
son.

Today's video journal goes behind the scenes as we filmed the story of Abraham and Isaac.
The role of Abraham is being played by Dean Jones. Jones' signature Disney role would be that of race car driver "Jim Douglas" in the Love Bug series. Jones appeared in two of the five feature films, The Love Bug and Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo.
